Looking for an App Developer to Pay You for Your App Ideas?

Everyone has that moment of brilliance, flash of inspiration, or spark of creativity needed to make something new and unique. Sometimes, that moment manifests itself as an app idea.  Alas, many new businesses starting today (the majority, as far as we’ve noticed) are based around the vibrant app industry. You’ve heard it from us before; you can either code the app yourself which takes lots of time and knowledge, you can pay a programmer which adds up to be quite expensive, or you can use Applits which will develop your idea with no cost to you while you receive cash and royalties.

Obviously, Applits isn’t the only company that pays for app ideas.  There are plenty of other businesses online that will let you submit your app idea (usually for a fee ranging from $1-$15) to their website. Your app idea then goes through a review process by the owners of the company, often programmers, to determine if your idea will be developed or not. Submitters of these ideas selected for development usually get a monetary reward and royalty money, similar to the Applits system.

So, why is the Applits process so much better?

Needless to say, we think Applits is far superior to these types of services…but for this argument, we actually have some cold hard reasoning!  First of all, our user community is our panel of experts; we think that you guys know what ideas are best, and what types of apps are missing in your app stores.

the community is better than the few Looking for an App Developer to Pay You for Your App Ideas?

Applits believes that the community knows better than the few!

The Applits community works together to refine your app idea during Voting Week, and when the crowd’s votes are achieved, this proves the desirability of the end product by smartphone users around the world before development even begins.  This is much different than our app-idea-gathering competitors.  For them, it’s just a small group of “experts” that decide if your idea is up to snuff enough to be developed.  Who is to say that this handful of programmers are the best to determine the potential success of an app,..more expert than you?? Insulting!   And nine times out of ten, it turns out that these companies only have one or two apps actually developed and released into the app stores…they don’t actually “accept” many ideas whatsoever, so your chances are pretty slim.

Elaborating off of the “our process proves the desirability of the end product” point, we are huge fans of our Voting Week here on Applits.  This voting system is, in a sense, a way to track the number of “I love this app idea, and if Applits developed it I would surely download it” reactions to each idea.  If your app idea wins, then, this means even more money in your pocket…because we have that marketable user base who said they were interested in your idea to share the developed product with and, in turn, provide you with more of a chance to cash in on that percentage of net profits that comes with your victory.

As the success of your developed app increases, so do your profits, since you’ll be earning a percent of the revenue that the app brings in. This is even more motivation for you to do some cold hard thinking on your app idea before you submit it to Applits. If your idea wins, you want to make sure it’s REALLY great and will attract downloads after release.

Lastly, Applits develops more apps than all of our idea-buying competition. We start development on two new apps every month, and most development companies that buy app ideas only make a few apps a year!  Since we develop a lot of different apps, that means your app idea has a greater chance of getting developed than if you submitted it with another company…and, you don’t have to waste that $1-$15 submitting it in the first place. It’s free, painless, and simple!

We are proud of Applits, we love our community, and we love apps!  Hopefully you decide to submit your app idea with us, and we look forward to interacting with you onsite!

Here’s to your creativity!

Hi, I have an idea for an App. It will help people communicate more easily with deaf people. The person taps in a message to the iPad/phone and the message is reinterpreted into animated sign language which can be displayed to the person who is deaf. Anyhow, that’s the idea which can evolve into a two way conversation. Let me know if we can take it to the next level.

Can our idea be submitted more than once? What happens if we have the rolling stones of an idea one month but it just happens to be the same month that someone submits the Beatles of an idea if you get my drift?

In other words, in any given month our idea could blow all others out of the water but we just happen to submit the month that some guy comes along with an app called ‘angry birds’. Can we try again next month?

      Hello David,

Thanks for expressing your concern…and valid point! Good news: you are allowed to re-submit your idea as many times as you’d like, month after month. If you’re confident enough that it’s a great idea and will gain attention within the community, we’d like to continue giving you that option. So don’t worry about potentially submitting it to a month with heavy competition first!

      Cheers, hope that helps.

Thanks for that answer. I hope submitters are honest enough not to keep submitting after the second or possibly third time but if they get a lot of votes the first time it might be an indication for them to try again

I have a App idea that could be used for Ipads, and it also become a simple computer program as well especially into television broadcasting. It believe it would be more convenient for film editors.

      Hi Gabe,
Sounds like an interesting idea no doubt. Please feel free to submit it to the Applits app idea competition, here: http://applits.com – In our monthly competition, you could very easily be paid for this idea.

Absolutely! We recently had a winner, “Ribbon,” that is a game idea — so we’re perfectly capable of making games and we love seeing them on the site.

      Hello Rod,

I’ve removed your previous comment to keep it from prying eyes. If you could submit your idea instead to our website at http://applits.com/submit-idea.php , we will then be able to review it properly. Thanks!

      Hi Ramu,

You can feel free to submit your idea right on our main site, http://applits.com
Here, our community can evaluate your app idea and if they like it, we’ll make it next! In that case, you’d earn 15% of all the profits it brings in after it’s developed and released.

I want to submit an idea but if it goes all the way up the chain how much percentage does the inventor get for the app? Does the inventor stilll have to compete against everyone in the points?

    • Keith
      Aug 18, 2014

The inventor gets 15% of all the profits the app brings in after it’s released. Points are a separate thing entirely, where anybody (whether they submitted the idea or not) can participate on the site and earn royalties as well.

What if the idea for the app requires a webpage to accompany it? Some examples: Yelp, Facebook, Youtube, ect. Will those ideas be accepted?

    • Keith

Hi Blong – yes, those ideas will be accepted :)

I’ve tried searching through apple’s app store and Google’s play store but everything turns out with its usual results that are all the same. My idea of an app that most likely has come to mind but based on long and extensive research no one has been able to have it at hand and ready to play. I want to be apart of this certain app’s income and not just sale this idea for a quick penny. But I don’t know anything about development of apps(ITS NOT ABOUT DRUGS OR SEX). Please, if you would be so kind and give me advise how to get this out there because its like no matter what the law says and what the world thinks about it, people still fight for this kind of service and it would be awesome to be the first one to have it on your mobile phone!
